The Hostel Girls are very well behaved and enjoy life in the tiny Village of Nalluru. They are looked after very well by the Hostel Volunteers, Vijaya Kumari and her family.
The Girls do everything together and also help out with preparing meals, washing and cleaning. They play games, put together dance routines and sing songs in English and in Telagu.
They go to school nearby and have extra tuition at the hostel in the evening, if needed. There is also the Cobo Mission Tailoring School next door which the older girls attend to learn how to sew.
The Girls’ sponsors each give presents to their Hostel Girl on their Birthday and at Christmas, along with a Special Picnic outing every year.
